Mental Health Support Worker/UK Licensed Driver
We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and proactive individuals to join our team as Mental Health Support Workers. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping others, enjoys working within the community, and holds a full UK driving licence.
You will support service users with:
- Daily living skills
- Emotional support
- Community access and appointments
- Medication prompts
- Goal setting and independent living
- Motivational and recovery‑focused activities
Full training provided. Experience is essential, we hire individuals with the right skills and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality, person‑centred mental health support
- Transport service users safely to appointments, activities, and community engagements
- Promote independence and recovery‑focused support
- Maintain accurate records and support plans
- Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and internal teams
- Respond calmly and professionally to challenging situations
Requirements
- Full and clean UK driving licence
- Passion for supporting vulnerable individuals
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Reliability and professional conduct
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends
- DBS check required (can be arranged)
